There are 64 such sites nationwide, ranging from century-old, traditional breweries to sleek modern ones, and they serve as excellent multi-purpose cultural spaces that visitors can enjoy alongside local festivals and tourist attractions.

Each brewery combines its own history, regional ties, and tourism elements to create a distinctive space, developing hands-on programs to welcome visitors.

They include Milgwanonilda, which produces Korea's first wheat-based jinmaek soju; National Heritage Master Jo Ok-hwa Andong Soju, part of Korea's first generation of traditional liquor makers and the only Andong soju designated a National Heritage; Galgisan Grape Farm, which has spent 40 years perfecting eco-friendly organic viticulture to produce wine; and Dado Chamjuga, which brews makgeolli by combining 60 years of tradition with modern fermentation technology.
